Astrocartography Guide (still working on it but this is what I have so far)
The Axes
The Ascendant axis is a place where you have the potential to experience an emphasis on energy related to themes of identity, self-expression, personality, how individuals view you, your view of the world, your attitude, your aesthetic, and can show what energy the place inspires you to express aka what energy it pulls out of you.
The Imum Coeli axis is a place where you have the potential to experience an emphasis on energy related to themes of family, emotional healing, nurturing, maternal energy, a sense of home, property ownership, safety, security, comfort, foundation, rest, and your private life.
The Descendant axis is a place where you have the potential to experience an emphasis on energy related to themes of 1-on-1 partnerships such as romantic, platonic, and business. This line usually represents how you relate to the environment and the people in it.
The Midheaven axis is a place where you have the potential to experience emphasized energy around the themes of the profession, career, purpose, public image, responsibilities, an audience, public image, the image you project for the world to see, success, and politics.
The Planets
The Sun- spotlight, ego, vitality, livelihood, confidence, creativity, energy, light, usually a place where you thrive in whatever area of life is ruled by the axis it's on
Moon- emotions, self-care, sensitivity, home, family, intuition, retirement, nurturing, caretaking, maternal/leadership energy, either really comfy or really uncomfy, retirement, slow life, not necessarily where career will thrive
Mercury- communication, local community, exchange, socializing, commerce, friends, learning, writing, information gathering, moving around/being busy, mental activity, health and medicine
Venus- love, relationships, money, material possessions, pleasure, food, nature, fashion, beauty, attraction, women, sweetness, business, being well-liked and treated well, relaxed, not a lot of hard work being done
Mars- motivation, drive, initiative, not thinking things through, impulsiveness, physical activity, masculine energy, power, stamina, decisiveness, assertiveness, competition, not much relaxation, increases the chance of conflict, having to do the work, sports
Jupiter- abundance, higher learning, religion, spirituality, mentors, philosophy, luck, learning through positive reinforcement, optimism, strengthened faith, publication, language/culture exchange, bringing goals fruition with ease and optimism
Saturn- discipline, maturity, independence, solitude, aging, doubts, slow progress, accountability, responsibility, tradition, being faced with the results of your actions, challenges, can bring a certain level of stress and challenge, be mindful of not becoming too rigid and cynical, an air of seriousness and determination
Uranus- freedom, genius, innovation, rebellion, upheaval, great rapid change, a place where you could experience a culture shock, a place where you have eureka moments and behavior that differs greatly from how you usually are, where you allow yourself to be weird and do those “odd” things, may not be the place to settle down because it can make life really unpredictable
Neptune- spirituality, disconnected from physical reality, vivid imagination, focus on the unseen and non-tangible, healing, martyrdom, creativity, dreams, fantasy, connection on a soul level, intuition, romanticization, retreat, rest, relaxation, detachment from ego and worldly goals, mystical aspects of life, must be mindful of not being deceived by rose-colored glasses or the bliss of ignorance, not a place to try to pursue a corporate/organized career
Pluto- deep transformation, loss, death-rebirth, unearthing of deep power, isolation,
North Node- destiny, purpose, fate, moving towards the future,

The Sun
Sun AC- confidence and certainty in self, expression, aesthetic, and identity. Focus on your behaviors and lifestyle. A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards life in this place. Self-discovery. A lot of attention is shown to you, including your own attention and the attention of others. People see you as someone of importance and interest. Be mindful of your ego getting too big or putting all your attention how people view you. A lot of energy given to yourself and your personal (not necessarily career) goals. Putting energy into what energizes you. Could be kinda selfish
Sun DC- focus and spotlight on relationships, feeling seen in your relationships, feeling like a magnet for connection and social interactions, shining in your relationships, feels like new life has been breathed into the relationship, aspects of excitement and joy in connection
Sun IC- focus on family, home, and private. taking control of your home life, centering your needs, community showing up for you, being more present with your emotions, feeling accomplished and joyful on the homefront, a great place for your family or to fulfill your role in your family
Sun MC- recognition of success, purpose, public image. feels like you have a boost in vitality in regards to your brand/business/purpose/goals, people feel drawn to your business, greater motivation towards accomplishing your goals, greater confidence and certainty in your purpose.
The Moon
Moon AC- focusing on how you feel, could feel particularly sensitive here, very in touch with your emotions and intuition, nurturing self, other people possibly gravitating toward you because of how comforting your energy is here, solitude, introspection, noticing the root and foundation of your behaviors, being led by your emotion, could feel like a home body here, a place to relax, also can be very uncomfortable cuz it cause you to face aspects of yourself that require too much vulnerability and feelings you’re not ready to address
Moon IC- focus is completely on home, real estate, family, emotional healing, ancestry, foundation, psychological health, private life, tending to your needs
Moon DC- relationships that feel like family, safety, closeness, and home. Feeling nurtured by partners and friends. Relationships can be very emotional and intimate. Could find it hard to focus on yourself and your career here. Might feel really dedicated to taking care of others. A place to build a home with a person you love
Moon MC- a caretaker/role model to a greater audience/the public, emotional about politics, sensitive about your career, a career that is close to your heart and aligned with your emotional fulfillment or emotionally taxing, sensitive to public opinion, private life could be public, empathy for the people in this community, working from home, work related to family, domestic matters, women, children

Mercury AC- greater ability to communicate who you are, knowing how to network and communicate your ideas effectively, people respect your words, a place to learn more about yourself and the world around you, very busy energy, being on the go, working with your hands, socializing a bit,

Venus AC- self love, “eat pray love” vibes, falling in love with the beauty in the environment, feeling creative, romanticizing your view/perspective, focusing on your pleasure, interest in art, a good place for money, romance, and creation, people being instantly enamored by you, being noticed for your beauty or artistry
Venus IC- feeling more love towards your family, building a loving home, a good place to buy property, home feels like a beautiful creative space, a good place to start a family
Venus DC- the best line for romance and relationships, feeling very in love with your partner, a great place to get married or honeymoon with your partner, potential to meet a prospective partner or your partner could be from this place if this isn’t where you meet them,
Venus MC- success of your business, attracting an audience/clients who appreciate your business, a place helpful for attracting wealth, a great place for people in creative careers, doing business/work that you love and aligns with your values, might feel like love is lacking on the private life front though if it seems as though people only love you for your image

Mars AC- lots of physical activity, feeling very bold, motivated, taking risks, being fearless, a bit confrontational, impulsive, strong sense of self confidence,
